Thank you for viewing this video tutorial showing how to convert InDesign files to Microsoft PowerPoint, Word or Apple Keynote type using ID2Office 2021.

ID2Office 2021 which is a plug-in for Adobe InDesign, includes new capabilities such as support for Arabic and Hebrew language text; separation of graphics elements; and conversion of InDesign form objects.

So, here we have InDesign 2021 running and I am going to export my InDesign file to Microsoft PowerPoint type.

1. I first click the Recosoft menu in InDesign 2021
2. Select the ID2Office – Export to Office format command
3. Then when the ID2Office – Options window appears, I set to export to Microsoft PowerPoint and Click Export and save the file

ID2Office 2021 converts the InDesign (.indd) file to the PowerPoint type. This is a fairly complex and long document and might just take a little time and it’s almost done. Once the export process is over, I can now see that the InDesign file has been converted to PowerPoint type.

We can compare the InDesign file to PowerPoint file; everything looks fantastic.

Let’s now convert another InDesign file, this time to the Microsoft Word type. Again, we click on the Recosoft menu, choose the ID2Office – Export to Office format command and select Microsoft Word as the type to export to and click Save.

The InDesign file is converted quickly to Word type; and again, we can compare the contents and see that everything is nicely formatted and editable.

So, it’s easy to share your InDesign contents and documents with your colleagues or customers who use PowerPoint or Word using ID2Office 2021.
